yuzukitea: No source / biased representation of 2011 qiandeng cup incident (2021-08-17 15:14) [#11812]

I've been trying to dig into this Missingham 2011 Qiandeng cup incident and there is no source for the interpretation written in this article. It seems that there was this article on SL: Gender Discrimination In Go /Sina Sports 2011-08-29 which pulls up a forum post on a Taiwanese go forum apparently made by Lu Yijing defending the actions of the Taiwan Qiyuan, but a forum post can hardly be considered a formal media statement (it begins with a disclaimer that it's not a formal statement of Taiwan Qiyuan) and most other primary sources (news articles/etc) do not seem to view Taiwan Qiyuan in this light.

I think there probably needs to be a re-evaluation of multiple sources on this incident.

This article in general seems to be cluttered by heavily biased opinions and framing.
