maproom is Nick Wedd.

I live in Oxford, England. My email address is nick at maproom.co.uk. I was once webmaster for the British Go Association. I now referee some British Go events, and organise Computer Go tournaments.

I play on go servers as maproom. I am around 3-kyu on servers, and 2-kyu in real life, I once played better, and was awarded a BGA shodan certificate.

I run monthly tournaments for Go programs on KGS, and maintain http://www.computer-go.info/.

I am more interested in maps than in Go.
