I've gotten this far. Not quite sure what White's best next move is.

If Black tries to escape with 2, White can capture.

And if Black doesn't force White somehow, White 3 captures the stones.

Perhaps we should step back to here. The problem with Black playing anywhere besides the marked spot is that White will play there which is very big for her.

I'm stumped. I've tried other variations, but this one still seems the most promising. If you know the answer, please don't post it here, but perhaps show the first two moves of it.

Anyway, to answer this one, White simply plays atari at 1 and blocks at 3. White wins the capturing race.
