Tamura Takao

(田村孝雄, June 20 1931 - February 14 1990) Japanese Go reporter and writer. Performed work under the pseudonyms of Tamura Ryukihei (田村竜騎兵, on Asahi newspaper from 1960) and Maki Shintaro (牧伸太郎, earlier on Tokyo and Sankei newspapers).

He wrote many Go books including Go Super Book #23 "Tales of Go History".
