Actually there are 2 Go federations in Russia

Russian Go Federation whose president is Maksim Volkov. This federation is the official body recognised by the European Go Federation.

Go Federation Russia whose president and founder is Igor Grishin.

As a result, there are two Russian championships. In 2005, the winners were Ilja Shikshin of the Russian Go Federation, and Ruslan Dmitriev, 6-dan of the Go Federation (Russia, Moscow).
