Page churn

Page churn refers to the way older pages are edited and brought to attention in RecentChanges.

Page churn is good because:

1. The format of older pages can be brought up to date;
2. The pages can be better wikified;
3. The content can be reviewed;
4. In particular duplications and parallels to other pages can be picked up;
5. Better sense can be made of matters not well expressed in the first drafts;
6. Mistakes can be taken out;
7. Difficulty levels can be adjusted;
8. And, naturally, there is plenty that is of interest in older pages, which isn't so accessible just by following links from pages receiving current at
