In CGT, the outcome class of an abstract game ``G`` indicates who wins ``G`` under optimal play given who starts; the four basic possibilities are ``G=0``, ``G∥0``, ``G>0``, ``<0`` corresponding to a win for the second player, the first player, Left and Right respectively. These may also be combined in ways such as ``G⩽0`` (Right can win when playing second) and ``G⧐0`` (Left can win when playing first).
