OGS Forum All-in-One Democratic Game

The all-in-one democratic game is an open access voting game that has been going on the OGS forum (in this thread) since September 2020.

Like the Through the Years Long Correspondence tournament (est. June 2020), it was possibly spurred by the 2020-21 Coronavirus pandemic lockdown.

It is a standard untimed 19x19 game of Go (Chinese rules), except that

1. Everyone is allowed and encouraged to offer their opinions
2. Everyone is allowed to play as either colour
3. Moves are decided by equally weighted voting

This idea is similar to the "Ongoing Game" series begun on SL in 2001.

On 20 January 2022, around ninety moves have been made, accompanied by over 2,000 comments of discussion.
