Mehmet Emin Barsbey

This is Mehmet Emin Barsbey, currently 1 Dan amateur go player living in Istanbul in Turkey. I am the editor of Go Journal of Turkey which was published regularly in 2007/2008 (www.godergisi.com). As a member of Turkish Go Players' Association, after passing national qualification tournaments, I represented Turkey in 2nd and 3rd Korea Prime Minister Cup International. I also attended 2006 American Go Congress in North Carolina, 2007 European Go Congress in Austria, 2008 European Go Congress in Sweden. As an EGF certificated referee, I worked actively in the organizations of 7th-9th International Istanbul Go Tournaments and also in some local tournaments. I also teach game to a small group of kids between 6-10 years old. As an amateur, besides playing game, I am also interested in publishing, rules, organizations, teaching and searching cultural aspects of GO. I would like to share every kind of information and experience with GO players in all these fields.
