Kim Weon

Kim Weon (or Kim Won) ([]Hangul]: 김 원, Chinese: 金 原, b. 3 January 1967) is a Korean pro. He was promoted to 6 dan in 1995, and 7 dan in on 19 December 2021 for reaching the 23rd KBS Baduk King Preliminary. He had entered as a 1st class trainee with Lee Chang-ho, now 9p, in 1986.

Director of the largest Baduk school in Seoul. He was the teacher of female 9 dans Cho Hye-yeon and Kim Hye-min.
