My full name is Kibi-no Makibi . When I was alive, in the 8th century, I traveled to China as part of a delegation from Japan and brought back many treasures. My favorite was the game of go, and I am very proud of what my country has done for this game. But I am disappointed that the West has not really discovered the wonders of go. For centuries I have watched helplessly as go languished in obscurity, but I have finally discovered a living human counterpart to help me find "the move of God" that will make go as popular as chess in the West.
