Karl-Friedrich Lenz (b. 1958 in Munich, Germany) is a German professor of German and European Law at Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo. He published one of the earliest capturing race formulas in Western literature. It appeared in a 1982 article in Deutsche Go Zeitung. He also wrote other pieces on 'go & copyright' and 'studying techniques on the internet.'
