James Sedgwick

Canadian Go Association 6 Dan (Canadian ranks are roughly equivalent to AGA ranks), born in 1972.

I started playing go in fall 1992, reaching 3 Dan in 1995. The next three years I was not very active while in Computer Science Graduate school. I then took lessons from two teachers in the Toronto area, reaching 6 Dan over the next few years. Since approximately 2002 I have been active with the Canadian Go Association serving first as ratings officer, and currently as Canadian Go Association President.

My usual server login name is sedgwick (currently I am mostly on KGS).

I host go players at my home, currently Monday nights.
