Goto Hajimu

Gotō / -ou Hajimu, aka Gotō Ichi; Kanji 後藤一; katakana ゴトウ ハジム

(Ichi is the normal reading of the Kanji character 一 as “one”, which is why Go Ratings and Go4Go call him “Goto Ichi”. Hajimu is the right name reading of that character as per the katakana syllabic script on the Nihon Kiin profile page. Hajime and many others are still other ways to read the Kanji).

Japanese professional, b. 5 August 2007 (Kyoto). Qualified as professional shodan in 2023.

He was knocked out in the first round of the 2024 Shinjin O.
