A points system is used, for which both over the board and online games (with anti-cheating measures) against other professionals will count.

Low Dan Thresholds

Low Dan Match Contributions

1 point for a win in European Championship, European Pro Championship, Grand Slam and other Bonus Points Tournaments in Europe; in the preliminaries of world pro tournaments; in the preliminaries or main of local pro tournaments or pro-amateur tournaments outside Europe (e. g. Sankei Cup, US Open Masters). 2 points for a win in world pro tournaments For corresponding final stages in High Dan System, 10 times the High Dan Match Contribution

Low Dan Tournament Contributions

10 points per winning the European Championship, European Pro Championship, Grand Slam. 10 points per winning local pro tournaments outside Europe, where the number of pros participating in main section is greater or equal to the number of amateurs. 3 points per winning Bonus Point Tournament level A (excepting European Championship) 2 points per winning Bonus Point Tournament level B 1 points per winning Bonus Point Tournament level C

High Dan Thresholds

High Dan Match Contributions

The points are for qualifying to following stages in world pro tournaments.

• TOP16 - 1 point
• TOP8 - 2 points
• TOP4 - 8 points
• TOP2 - 16 points
