On KGS, a demo game is a special type of go game that allows players to replay or review games, place problems on the board, play guess the pro move, etc. It is a digital blackboard for Go.

Outside KGS, the phrase "demonstration game" can refer to an exhibition game: that is, a game played in public that is not part of a tournament.
