Crocodile's Mouth
The crocodile's mouth (SL coinage) is a good shape, in many cases a development of the tiger's mouth. There is often potential for an eye at A.
It usually coincides with a full triangle of the opponent's stones, often as a result of a push exchange.
The crocodile's mouth can also emerge from a joseki misplay by the opponent (here White should have played at (6) himself with (5)).
