Chuo Ki-in

(中央棋院) Short-lived transitional group formed in 1923 from the amalgamation of Hoensha and the Honinbo house. This split within months, with the Honinbo group under Shusai taking the Chuo Ki-in name. The Nihon Ki-in was formed the following year.
