Bruno Bouzy is a player and programmer from France. Born in 1962, his highest rank was 3 dan. He was vice champion of France, losing in the final to Andre Moussa. He is perhaps better known for his work in the field of Computer Go. For instance, he used concepts from optics to produce the BouzyMap. He was also the author of the program Indigo which was one of the first to introduce techniques from Monte Carlo. Since 2007, he no longer participates actively in the field.
