velobici: Chinese Go Books (2006-05-16 17:48) [#1582]

Could you tell me what this book is 围棋定式一月通——围棋一月通丛书[ext] http://www.dangdang.com/products/242/242547.asp#?.

it appears to me to be a "one month guide to joseki" and a single volume out of a set of "one month guides".

Thank you.

Yes. More specifically, it is "master in one month", which I would say is an exaggeration.

Are there books at [ext] http://www.dangdang.com that you would recommend ? A co-worker's relative in Beijing is coming here and is willing to bring a few books for me. I have been using Chinese problem books that I find very helpful...the more reading practice I get the better :)

Tushucheng (book city, 5 floors) in XiDan? is indeed big. WeiQi books are on the 5th and occupy many meters bookshelf.

Even they do not have all books.

You can order also directly from dangdang itself (if you dare).

Seeing the lists of books on your page, you seem to like tesuji. Perhaps its time for something new and you take Go Seigen's collection in carton or the movie Wu Qingyuan or some books on fuseki.

When at home I could give you some ISBN.

I don't have any particular book to recommend.
