Hello,
Sensei's library is one of the only places on the web where the full versions of large collections such as Gokyo Shumyo can be found to my knowledge, along with many other original problems, and many of them are well classified by difficulty.
I wanted to know whether it would be acceptable to use a script to download all sgf that I can find as the result of some advanced search (e.g. tsumego + advanced), for personal use in a tsumego program.
Thank you by advance.
Check out SL Snapshot. It is the preferred way to download large amounts of data from Sensei's Library.
Thank you for your help, it is very much appreciated. Although the snapshot is a bit old, it is perfectly fine to get a script working. This way I will be able to extract tsumego collections, maybe even with solutions (when applicable).
If I understand correctly the page SLCopyRight, I am allowed to distribute the tsumego collections I would obtain this way under the same licence. I was wondering whether there was a significant chance that illegal material (i.e. copyright infringment) can be found on SL and that I could get in trouble for it.
