Please consider having a time/date-stamp for Removal Requests. Please also consider having (only) a short period when a request to avoid deletion will be considered. This would make it easier to avoid (almost certainly blatant) misuse such as that by "crewjony". I assume that the contents of a deleted page could be retreived in the case of a mistaken deletion.

there are only a few librarians that do delete at all. time-stamps and any more bureaucracy involved won't speed up the process. turning obvious trolling attempts into homepages will make it slower, because of the traditional policy of ignoring homepages, even the librarians that do delete usually don't touch homepages. removed the page in question, because obvious trolling is obvious.
another way to speed up decision making on requests is commenting on the other removal requests that nobody really wants to decide by himself.
