The current definition is not really definition, it is merely description of circumstances that constitute oyose. The yose page at least define it as "a move that approaches relatively well settled group...".
How are novice players supposed to understand that concept if we can't even pull together a definition from the current text.
Example for both yose and oyose is needed.
Yose moves may be better described as moves that settle the boundaries between Black's territories and White's territories, for example hane and connect on the first line. Oyose, unfortunately, is somewhat vague. The definition as "large yose" is pretty clear but large is a subjective thing so it's hard to be precise. And "endgame moves" can happen at any time during the game so it is necessarily vague I'm afraid.
