Strength of 3.8 at level 10? [#2793]

I'm wondering approximately how strong GnuGo 3.8 is at level 10. Anybody have an educated guess as to the range it's in?

At KGS 6k level I played it twice and won by 27 and 33. So I guess its strength is about KGS 8k, or even 9k.
