I added the word 'tentative' to LA, because - as of August 2008 - we have not firmly decided to do it here.
BTW: The people running the European Go Congress apparently have not only decided where 2011 will be, they have decided on 2012. Should we be planning years 4+ years in the future?

Due to the recession, nobody here in LA seems to be seriously interested in 2011. LA is an expensive city to visit, and we think that it might be best to do 2011 Congress someplace cheaper. When the economy improves, then maybe we will do it here. Robert Schrader
The economy seems to be improving, so we are more confident. The AGA has a lot of experienced volunteers that can help us, so we are planning 2011 in LA. -Robert Schrader
