According to Wikidata's page, Shinoda Hideyuki, whose article says that "as of October 11, 2002, he has changed his name to Oga Yuji", is the same person as Shinoda Mitsuaki, who currently has his own article.
Was he Mitsuaki, then Hideyuki, then Yuji?
Or Hideyuki, then Mitsuaki, then Yuji?
Or Hideyuki, then Yuji, then Mitsuaki?
What's his current name and how does his identity as Shinoda Mitsuaki fit in?
According to the Nihon Kiin official profile ( https://www.nihonkiin.or.jp/player/htm/ki000214.html), Shinoda Mitsuaki had former names. These are Shinoda Hideyuki and Oga Yuji. The profile page does not explain why he changed his name, and the origins of the name. But since he also changed his given name, I'm sure that his name change is not related to marriage.
The official profile page in above uses Shinoda Mitsuaki as his current name (as well as Wikidata). I'm sorry that I wasn't able to identify the timeline of his name changing.
According to https://www.goratings.org/en/players/1473.html (I found it from wikidata), Shinoda Hideyuki was used during 1984 to 1998.
Nice, thanks. Do you think it's policy to make Shinoda Mitsuaki the new namespace? Or leave it as Hideyuki?
If possible, I think this article should be renamed to Mitsuaki (per Wikidata).
