2a02:1811:b73e:2200: my personal opinion about the book (2022-07-08 23:39) [#12102]

What bothered me about this book,

is that there is never a source given. The author does not mention by which bot it was played, or in which game it was featured.

Even though I am somebody who on a daily basis plays with AI, reviews KataGo, Leela Zero, AlphaGo, Fine Art, and other bot games, it surprises me that most of these sequences in this book look rather unfamiliar.

I am sure that the content is not totally random, however I have not found any structure in it. They appear to be notes of a rather personal selection of joseki.

I would have hoped that this book would be structured more like a dictionary. And that is certainly not what it is.
