1) the wording here could do with some improvement: "Stones adjacent to a coin are limited to 3 liberties (the fourth one being occupied by the coin)."
A stone one the edge, that is adjacent to a coin, will have fewer liberties. Maybe just rephrase this as "Stones adjacent to a coin do not have a liberty at the coin" ?
2) I think this variant should go in the "special boards" section in Go variants rather than in the "special set up" section.
3) it seems to me that having Black may not necessarily be more of an advantage in this variant than in normal go.

3) I guess this depends on the arrangement of the coins. I have rephrased this particular sentence to add more nuance: "Since playing as Black might have the potential of being a significant advantage in this variant, players may use the Pie rule to determine who plays which color. "
