My name is Bob Terry and I have produced a lot of material about go over the years, including more than 35 books in paper and digital formats. My work can be seen on my websites:

I am now in negotiations with NHK, the national broadcasting company of Japan for distributing videos of the NHK Go Cup Tournament that I plan to subtitle in English. I have seen work that Jonathan Hop has done along those lines. I would like to exchange thoughts with him about the matter. (I am a professional Japanese interpreter/translator so I have to do everything by the book. I am right now discussing the matter with the legal representative for NHK based in Manhattan.)

But I have been unable to contact Jonathan Hop. Perhaps you know how to do that. Or perhaps you know of others who are interested in promoting go through these kinds of videos.

Of course I have watched the NHK broadcasts for many years, starting in the 1980s. I have also gotten rights to many books from the Nihon Ki-in. I translated and published them, along with all sorts of articles. The point is that I have a lot of experience doing this work. (I have done many times that amount of work in my professional capacity as a translator, working with top legal firms and media companies.)
