68.35.140.177: Styles of Play (2007-06-11 22:13) [#3446]

I'm not sure where would be the most appropriate place for this, so i'll start it here, and hope that the community will do with it what should be done. From the perspective of study, I believe it would be helpful to include on player pages, or compiled elsewhere, a brief description of the player's style, perhaps with a few exemplary games listed. This would allow the player who feels comfortable playing what he thinks of as a 'territorial' game to look for examples of what it is to play that style at a high level, or how that style might adapt to various opponent strategies.

If you type the word "styles" into the search box on this site, you'll come up with a few links, including Professional Players' Go Styles.

The question of Cho's style is ambiguous on this page. He is described as a "model territorial player", but then is said to have an "amorphous style". Territorial or amorphous, which is it?
