Shuto Shun

Japanese professional player born 1981-11-19, pupil of Iwata Hajime.

Promoted 1 dan in 2000, Shuto earned promotion to 2 dan in the same year, and to 3 dan in 2001, to 4 dan in 2003. Promoted 5 dan in 2007, earned promotion to 6 dan in at the beginning of 2008 (due his first place in the money list among 5 dan pro), 7 dan in 2010, again for prize winning. In early 2020 he was promoted to 8 dan due to winning 150 games.

Runner-up in the 2nd Daiwa Grand Champion Cup.
