A club formed in the United Kingdom in 1980.
In Issue 48 of the BGJ an advert was placed advertising a New Western Society that had formed an alliance with James Kerwin. James had promised to comment 36 British games per year as well as answering questions. These were distributed in a Bi-monthly club journal. David Mitchell intimates that nearly 40 people had joined in Issue 49. However, there is little record after this point, so one presumes the enterprise quickly folded.
