(六人会) Rokuninkai ("six man group") was the first attempt at making an inter-house study group after the Meiji Restoration. The founding members were Honinbo Shuetsu, Hayashi Shuei, Nakagawa Kamesaburo, Yasui Sanei, Kobayashi Tetsujiro and Yoshida Hanjuro. Founded in 1869 and lasted just one year.
