PromoteGo.org

PromoteGo.org was a website which was designed to help people promote Go in their community. There were three phases in the project:

• Provide a better club listing with geographic search, driving directions, and the ability for club owners to modify their own club records. This is already 90% completed and we're working with AGA Webmaster Steve Colburn to replace the club listing at http://usgo.org/cgi-bin/chapters.cgi
• Help people who live near each other to find each other and form new Go clubs if they don't already have a go club in their area
• Provide a service for people to arrange in-person Go games in public places like parks, coffee houses, and pubs, to raise the exposure of the game and introduce it to more people.

As of 2016 the website no longer exists and the project is presumed dead and abandoned.
