Hello all!

I'm Nomghost on KGS, OGS and IGS, currently around 5kyu. I'm based in Sydney, Australia, I come to Sydney Go Club from time to time. I majored in Political Science and International Relations, plus music production. I'm an aspiring journalist/writer.

I discovered go while reading a book called 'Shibumi' by Trevanian, and that sort of simmered away for a while in my mind until I stumbled onto Hikaru No Go and became properly fanatical. Watched a lot of Dwyrin's games and lectures before I could finally overcome Internet Go Anxiety enough to start playing (what if I lose a game!), but now I'm happy losing almost all my games ;)

I love the online go community for its generosity, kindness, and its welcoming and non-judgemental nature. You guys rock. This is my happy place.
