Japan Go Federation

Japan Go Federation (JGOF, 全日本囲碁連合 Zen-nihon Igo Rengo) is an umbrella organization to enable Japanese players to participate in the Asian Games, because Olympic Committees recognize only one "national federation" per sport per country.

It was first established as a temporary organization for the Asian Games 2010 and dissolved in 2011. Restarted in 2019 for the Asian Games 2022, this time as a permanent organization.

The following three organizations are affiliated to the JGOF.

• Japan Pair Go Association
