Israeli Go Championship

The Israeli championship is the main (and sometimes, the only) event of the go community in Israel. The location isn't constant and you should check for updates in the hebrew room in KGS or in the Facebook page of the Israeli go association. The championship is held usually around October - November.

2011

2015

Amir Fragman 5d won for the first time in the Israeli Go Championship, Reem Ben David 4d came second.

2016

Amir Fragman won for the 2nd time in a row in the Israeli Go Championship.

2017

The First time that the Israeli Go Championship is held in the new Chinese Culture Center in Tel Aviv city and using the Top 8 players format (to participate you need to earn points in the championship or in other tournaments and top 8 players with most points gets to paticipate.) Between the 28-30 in December, more information to follow.
