Ira Einhorn

Ira Einhorn (1940–2020) is one of the more infamous practioners of Go. Known for some time as the Unicorn Killer, he was eventually extradited from France to the USA and convicted of murder. The relatively small number of Go clubs in Europe led to him being found in Dublin in the 1980s, after having skipped bail and fleeing his country in 1981. Whilst there he played local players such as John Gibson. It is unknown if he continued to frequent clubs whilst in France or England.
