Frankmartin I think a is a proper move. Do you think Black is overconcentrated without the cutting stone and a? Anyway the exchange of j4 and a is good for Black. The whole board position does not require fast play. Leaving the cutting stone uncaught means bad aji for Black and good aji for White.
