Go Library

Go Library is a portal by which to search the entire GoGoD database. It can search by data (players' names, events) or by position. Position searches also allow a listing of all the next moves that have been played from the searched position.

Searches can be refined by restricting the dates or the numbers of moves; and once a list of matching games has been found, they can be played over quickly on an embedded, secondary board. Rotations and mirror images of all positions can also be checked.

John F. Go Library is a database program written by me to front-end the GoGoD Database. However, it does not do position searches. The ability to do that is provided by Kombilo, which is described and recommended in the readme file that comes with GoGoD and Go Library.

The above description may therefore be a conflation of two things. If there is another GoGoD-based program called Go Library, it is without my knowledge or blessing.
