    Keywords: Humour

Amaebi Press presents a useful book for Go players of all strengths:

Book Summary

Get Strong at Misclicking can help you with the finer techniques involved in misclicking, such as:

  • Creating never-before-seen fuseki
  • Calling your misclick a tesuji...and the response an even stronger tesuji
  • Avoiding a shameful loss by skillfully misclicking then turning down the offer to undo
  • And more!

Problem from p. 167:

Black to play and misclick

Analysis from p. 291:

In the following diagram, suppose you are behind in points and are trying to avoid a shameful loss. You might consider playing a misclick at 'a'. However, you are more likely to convince your opponent that you misclicked if you play at 'b', since it is closer to the edge where you could have been trying to resize your window. Then, you can turn down an undo offer with confidence and blame your loss on your misclick.

Black considers misclicks at 'a' and 'b'
