Features
CGoban-h adds the following features to the stock KGS client:
- move forward/back in a game with the mouse wheel
- wins and losses are colored in the game record
- Hovering over coordinates in Kibitz window highlights coordinates on the goban
- Much more...
Bugs, drawbacks:
With the last minor update of CGoban (from 3.4.x to 3.5.x) the protocol (client <-> server) has changed and for some time CGoban-h couldn't be used. Then someone (I think, it wasn't pasky) updated and added some classes. So again it is possible to use the client to connect to KGS. Sadly, there is an annoying bug in the code:
- If you want to offer or accept a game challenge, the field for the names of the players is empty, so you cannot select an opponent, change from nigiri to set color and you don't know, who challenges you.
Minor:
- With every login CGoban-h tells you, that your version is slightly out of date and asks you to update (what you don't want). Seemingly this is because of the revision number 3.5.-1
- You cannot add names in the buddies list by entering the name there. When you remove (by context menu) a name from the buddies list, CGoban-h gives an error message and nothing happens. Of course you can still uncheck "Buddy" in the context menu - this does it!
- Pasky didn't work on the tags features for games and users and also the hacker for 3.5.x didn't do it, so you need to use the regular client to give tags.

Not that "deep". Just 5 seconds after a simple google search you find:
