He was on the Russian team in the EGC 2016 promo match (Russia vs Haylee), but did not play.

Through 2017, he was on the border of 5d and 6d. He improved over 2018 and early 2019. Since late 2019, his rating has hovered on the threshold between 6d and 7d. Sometimes he declares himself as 6d, sometimes as 7d.

He competed in the 2019-20 Pandanet European Team Championship.
