    • It is fair to use the linear progression 60 / 45 / 30 as the default since the basic time has linear progression. Bad clocks are an exception and should get an exceptional ruling and not the default ruling. Therefore exceptional rulings for bad clocks should approach the default as well as possible. In the past this has been 60 / 40 / 30 seconds. Sometimes it is possible to set even 45 for Ing clocks. -- RobertJasiek 2003-10-05
