Use Go to Meet Friends

The Chinese proverb "Yǐ Qí Huì Yoǔ" (以棋会友) means that we should use games ("Qí") such as Weiqi (Go) or Xiangqi (Chinese Chess) to meet friends.

This has many ramifications:

• Respect your opponent.
• Respect your opponent's playing ability, no matter how bad.
• Avoid bad habits.
• Teach yourself Go by making friends.
• Make friends by teaching Go. (Pass knowledge on.)
• Increase international understanding by playing Go.
