First of all, remember that sente moves are only sente if they are played at proper time.

Sometimes the sequence given shouldn't be played out all at ones, but they should follow if both side play properly.

For example:

Technically, W6 doesn't necessary implies B7, but for practical reason and everyone's sanity, it is reasonable to assume it is.

One thing for sure though, is that this monkey jump is often 1+ point better than small monkey jump.

White has same amount of points, while Black has 1 points more in the previous diagram.
