I'm an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of New Mexico. I started playing Go in 1998 at the Tucson Go Club when I was a graduate student at the University of Arizona. I was one of the first users of KGS and am a former KGS admin as well. I've been roughly 3 kyu AGA/KGS for hte last decade or so (2003-2014).

I'm just about to start a major push for improving again, mainly by playing, studying a few books (problem books and middle game books), and memorizing/studying pro games. I'm restarting my use of the long-dormant PatrickBsTrainingBlog to log my studying and progress as a way to encourage myself to keep studying.

Naustin--Patrick, thank you very much for your note. I actually thought some about this possibility as I was working on the file for myself. I couldn't think of a good way to provide it but now that opportunity seems to have arisen. I am quite interested in the project. I am willing to provide my CGoban 2 Sgf file (I did do some light editing of the commentary) if that is helpful. Let me know. : )
