Guide To Reviewing/ Discussion

nachtrabe While some of the material here overlaps with that provided at Review I thought that having a resource with more exact areas of "do do notness" would be useful for those who review their games often or review games for others regularly.

I'm not expert, so definitely feel free to add/subject/multiply/divide or give comments :-)

Anonymous : Why not just incorporate this into Review rather than start another page that duplicates its function?

axd: I'm not sure if I correctly read this somewhere (can't remember): when creating a review from a game replayed from memory, the review should rotated if necessary (i.e. so to always present Black's perspective, e.g. Black starting in the top left corner).

Tapir: It is good to hear compliments when merited. But I wouldn't stand a teacher who is afraid of criticizing me, harshly if need be. Also, the turning the game advice looks dubious to me. In fact seeing your own game upside down or rotated can give a very different perspective.
