Grand Champion Tournament

(1st-3rd:棋戦優勝者選手権戦, 4th-6th:グランドチャンピオン戦) Grand Champion Tournament was a Japanese quickplay tournament held from 2014 to 2019. Time control was 30 sec/move plus 10 x 1 min.

In the first three editions, the name was "Tournament Winners' Championship". As the name suggests, the tournament was fought by winners of professional tournaments of the previous year. Therefore the number of players competed and its format (basically single elimination) were different each year.

• 3rd 2016 Cho Chikun (defeating Kyo Kagen)
• 4th 2017 Ichiriki Ryo (defeating Yamashita Keigo)
• 5st 2018 Iyama Yuta (defeating Kono Rin)
• 6th 2019 Shibano Toramaru (defeating Iyama Yuta)
