Applying new tournament rules for the first time. No coverage (besides DGoZ 5+6/2002 and 1/2003). Since direct comparison cycled, playoff (komi: 6.5, time: 20 min sudden death) had to break the tie. FJ first defeated Christoph and then Egbert (who got the bye for being seeded best). 2nd place remained shared (and sorted by the seed).
